Hmm, no, but it's appreciated.
For some reason, I really like the guy that plays Rum Tum Tiger (I think that's his name). And the lead cat, the black & white one that does most of the singing. The name escapes me.

To get back to the books for a moment here
. . . .
I've been reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels, by Charlaine Harris. They're not teen novels, so I don't think they're exactly appropriate for younger peoples, but with the television and education in school these days, you never know.
Anyway, they're "vampire" books, and the first one or two of the series reminds me of Twilight, because the main character can read minds. She's a human, a waitress in a bar, and is constantly exhausted because she has to put up a shield in her mind to block out other's thoughts.
Anyway, one day a vampire walks into the bar (they have recently revealed themselves to the public before the series begins), and Sookie finds she can't read his mind. She's fascinated, they start to like each other, and it explodes from there.
Sound familiar?
But this was written in 2000-2001, several years before Meyer even got the idea to write it. The HBO series, True Blood, is based on the books, though it is very much different (most of the plot remains the same, but the character portrayal is a bit off). I admit to watching this series, though it's probably not healthy for me, but the books are . . . well . . . a bit "classier" than the series. But that's the way it is for a lot of books-turned-television/movies.
Just look at Gossip Girl.
