What we liked about the movie
I like how they did the flashbacks!!
I woulda got confused if they had everything just in color, or just in b/w. I like how they had some contradiction,,,it helped with the confusion.

Re: What we liked about the movie
Yeah.
They didn't have any flashbacks in the stage-version.
But personally, I like Emmy better than Sarah Brightman.

Re: What we liked about the movie
Yeah, Sarah was the original Christine Daae for the musical. She was in both the British and the American version on stage.
I saw her last on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. She looked old. lol (sorry!)
But then again, it's been over twenty years since she played the part, so . . .
She's actually a pretty good singer, but in my opinin, I'd pick Emmy.

Re: What we liked about the movie
I know, I know. Sarah was recently in Star magazine. Don't get your hopes up, it was just a snapshot of her, and it went along with some collage of celebs in corseted dresses or something, but it was still a picture. It even credited her for her work on Phantom on stage.
Ack. I read Star and National Enquirer, and I haven't seen any pictures of Emmy in such a long time. Come on, Emmy, start promoting your new film already!

Re: What we liked about the movie
Ha ha. (sorry)
I've seen it on stage twice!! Once in NYC, and once in Syracuse.
The movie is good, but the stageshow is great.
