Jeanne at the Cemetery Empty Jeanne at the Cemetery

Post by Little Lotte Sun Aug 31, 2008 5:45 pm

Jeanne walked up to the gates to the dreary cemetery, there were statues of Mary, Jesus, and Angels. She opened the gates quietly, she wiped her forehead, she decided to walk and get some exercise. She was drabbed in a black dress that she had gotten 2 months ago for the winter when she went to her father's grave. She had a woolen cloak around her and a woolen scarf around her head. Her breath came in a think smoke from the cold. She slowly went to her father's grave. She thought about what she said about how she didn't know where she heard the song that she sang in front of Alis and Cecilia. She did.
Her mother used to be an opera singer, an opera singer for the same opera house. Her father said that he couldn't tell her why her mother stopped. But she knew, her mother kept a diary when she was an opera singer. Oh! How beautiful she could write! She knew why her mother stopped. That was why she was scared of the Phantom.....
She was surprised to already be in front of her father's grave, she looked to the left, right next to it, it was her mother's. She looked at the name:

Countess Caroline Aston
beloved wife and mother
1838 - 1861
She looked at her mother's picture, she was the spitting image of her mother. They both had the same hair and everything. She looked at the name: Caroline. That wasn't her mother's name, and her father's last name wasn't Aston either, their names were made up.... All because of the Phantom.....
She looked at her father's grave, she gently laid down the roses. She felt tears come up. She quickly wiped them away. She didn't hear the footsteps behind her.

Jeanne at the Cemetery Empty Jeanne at the Cemetery

Jeanne was lost in thought of her mother's story. She was so engrossed that she didn't even notice that someone was behind her. Suddenly, a gloved hand, cold as ice, covered her mouthy. She couldn't even struggled against the hold, she was too frightened, she fainted. The dark shape lifted up her delicate body, being very careful with her. It walked to the end of the cemetery, to where a horse was. Lifting Jeanne on the horse, he jumped on after putting her on. It made sure no one had been watching him put her on the horse, or over power her for that matter. Pleased with itself, it rode off.
